The GBTA | Georgia Chapter brings travel industry buyers and suppliers together for professional development, networking opportunities and an exchange of ideas all focused on ROI, professional and personal growth.

Sample Meeting Agenda

11:00am – 11:20am: Registration and networking 
 11:25am - 11:55pm: Meeting Announcements, Venue Introduction, Sponsor Highlights
12:00pm - 1:15pm Lunch Service, Speaker/Panel Presentation, Q & A, Closing Announcements

Space
Typical attendance is 75 - 100 guests.
Pre-function networking area preferable. May use meeting room as space dictates.
Registration: 2 6-8' tables, 2 chairs, electrical and wi-fi service.
Expo Tables: 2 6-8' tables with 1 chair each, electrical service for membership, community service committee needs
Meeting Room: Tables set to 6-10 guests. As needed, platform riser for speaker/panelists. Wi-fi accessibility.

Food and Beverage

  • Water station in pre-function area.
  • Plated meal to include salad and dessert. Entree Salad or Box Lunch negotiable.
  • Beverage to include coffee, ice tea, water

Audio / Visual 

  • Minimum of 1 large screen for powerpoints and speaker presentations, sound, 3 hand-held / lav mics., and podium with hand-held mic.
  • LCD Projector with slide remote.
  • Chapter is open to in-house A/V or use of the Chapter's A/V and Technician. 
  • Most meetings are 1 speaker. There may be a panel of 3 speakers with moderator or fireside chat set-up.
  • A clear view of the podium must be available to all attendees.

Pre-Meeting Board Space
9:30am -11:00pm. Space for 10-14 Board members. Coffee, Tea, Water. Complimentary pastries / fruit.

Parking

  • Complimentary or very reduced rate.


Dates and Location

  • The 2024 Calendar is in development.  To view the 2023 Calendar, click here.
  • The preferred date is the 2nd Thursday of the Month.
  • Location: Metro Atlanta including Rowell, Cumberland, Airport, Gwinnett, Buckhead, Mid-Town and Downtown sites


Our Partnership

  • We are seeking properties/venues willing to fully sponsor our chapter events. Or at a reduced inclusive rate.
  • Budget to not exceed $45 inclusive per attendee.
  • Complimentary A/V or negotiated rate.
  • Complimentary or reduced/rate for Speaker lodging.
  • Contribution to Chapter's Annual Professional Development Auction.
